The Welfare state are not proper reparations because slavery isn’t even the biggest historical problem that affects black people today. Redlining in banks still affects black people today. Redlining was essentially banks denying people for loans because they are black. It’s illegal now but people’s parents were alive during a time when it wasn’t. It’s why black families rent at double the rate of white families and we all know renting is more expensive than ownership. If the far left truly wants FAIR reparations, they should just try to push programs that help black people into home ownership. Oh wait, that would take actual work and negotiation and is harder than just giving them cash to do whatever with.
